Responsibilities
Tasks
- Train or arrange for training
- Co-ordinate and schedule activities
- Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
- Set up machines and equipment
- Supervise workers and projects
- Supervise daily activities of floorhands, labourers and helpers
- Requisition materials and supplies
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other work units
- Inspect to ensure that safe working conditions are maintained
- Construction site supervision
- Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
