Employment Details:
Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time
Wage: $28.00 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week
Language: English
Start Date: As soon as possible
Work Location: Work Location: Various client and project sites located throughout the Lower Mainland, Fraser Valley, Greater Vancouver, North Shore, and Victoria regions of British Columbia.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Transport lighting equipment, tools, materials, and installation supplies to and from job sites
- Assist technicians and installers with setup, installation, and removal of decorative and commercial lighting systems
- Prepare and organize work areas before and after lighting installations
- Sort, stage, and store lighting components, cables, mounts, and hardware properly
- Support ladder work, mounting preparation, and ground-level assistance during installs
- Follow workplace and electrical safety procedures to maintain a safe environment for workers and the public
- Maintain cleanliness of vehicles, storage areas, and job sites
- Perform general labour and support duties as assigned to support Festilight operations
Skills Requirements:
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Previous labour or construction experience is an asset but not required.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work and lift materials as needed.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures.
Benefits and Vacation:
- 10 working days of vacation per year or 4% vacation pay, in accordance with the British Columbia Employment Standards Act.
