Job position: Maintenance Helper

NOC: 75119 – TEER 5: Other trade helpers and labourers.

Employment Details:

Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time
Wage: $28.00 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week
Language: English
Start Date: As soon as possible
Work Location: Work Location: Various client and project sites located throughout the Lower Mainland, Fraser Valley, Greater Vancouver, North Shore, and Victoria regions of British Columbia.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Transport lighting equipment, tools, materials, and installation supplies to and from job sites
  • Assist technicians and installers with setup, installation, and removal of decorative and commercial lighting systems
  • Prepare and organize work areas before and after lighting installations
  • Sort, stage, and store lighting components, cables, mounts, and hardware properly
  • Support ladder work, mounting preparation, and ground-level assistance during installs
  • Follow workplace and electrical safety procedures to maintain a safe environment for workers and the public
  • Maintain cleanliness of vehicles, storage areas, and job sites
  • Perform general labour and support duties as assigned to support Festilight operations

Skills Requirements:

  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Previous labour or construction experience is an asset but not required.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work and lift materials as needed.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures.

Benefits and Vacation:

  • 10 working days of vacation per year or 4% vacation pay, in accordance with the British Columbia Employment Standards Act.
