K9 FlossBoss Inc. provides professional pet grooming and related pet care services to clients in North York and the Greater Toronto Area. We are seeking a responsible and organized Pet Grooming Supervisor to oversee daily service operations, coordinate staff activities, maintain service quality, and support efficient delivery of pet grooming services.
The Pet Grooming Supervisor will be responsible for the following duties:
- Supervise, coordinate, schedule and review the activities of pet grooming and service workers.
- Schedule daily work assignments, appointments, events, programs and service activities.
- Coordinate activities with other work units, departments, partner locations and service providers.
- Monitor quality, productivity, sanitation standards and customer service levels.
- Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and service quality.
- Train staff in job duties, safety procedures, animal handling practices, equipment use and company policies.
- Requisition and order materials, equipment and supplies required for daily operations.
- Arrange for maintenance and repair work for equipment, tools and machinery.
- Ensure smooth operation of computer equipment, grooming equipment and machinery.
- Supervise the operation of mechanical equipment and machinery used in service delivery.
- Prepare and submit progress reports, service records, scheduling reports and other operational reports.
- Assist clients with special needs, requests and service-related concerns.
- Act as the point of contact during emergency situations or operational issues.
- Perform related supervisory and service support duties as required.
Employment Requirements
- No schooling requirement
- 1 year to less than 2 years of related experience is required.
- Experience in pet grooming, animal care, customer service or service supervision is an asset.
- Ability to supervise staff and coordinate daily operations.
- Strong organizational, communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work on site and manage a fast-paced service environment.
