GENERAL MACHINIST

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES ARE LISTED BELOW:

• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, charts or sample parts to begin machining operations.
• Inspect dimensions and tolerances with the help of precision measuring tools such as vernier caliper, micrometre and standard gauges.
• Spot dimensions on raw material to regulate the machining operations.
• Set up machine tools, jigs, fixtures and select proper tools to execute machining
• operations such as turning, boring, milling and drilling.
• Analyse equipment failure and rearrange machines to assure fine production.
• Complete maintenance of machines as per schedule.
• Report all breakdowns of machines to manager.

Key Requirements:

Education:                                         Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Work Experience:                             1 year to less than 2 years.

Language:                                           English

Work Location:                                  603 Millway Avenue suite 23 & 24 Concord, ON L4K 3V1

Salary:                                                 $37.00 per hour. Full-time permanent position

Start Date:                                          As soon as possible
