Our family is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to provide high-quality care and support to a female senior.
- Salary: $21.00 per hour
- Hours: 30 hours per week
- Work Site Environment: Non-smoking, Scent free
- Employment Location: 203 Timberbank Blvd,Toronto, ON M1W 2A7
Job Duties:
- Provide bedside and personal care for the senior, including activities such as dressing, mobility assistance, feeding, and medication reminders.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to the senior.
- Plan and prepare meals tailored to the senior's needs.
- Handle household chores, including dishwashing, room cleaning, laundry, and other related tasks.
- Ensure the senior's environment is safe, comfortable, and nurturing.
- Maintain accurate care records and promptly report any changes in the senior's condition to the family.
- Communicate effectively with the family about the senior's well-being.
- Shop for food and household supplies when needed.
- Provide first aid or CPR to the senior if necessary.
Requirements:
- Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- Previous experience in care of the senior and/or previous full-time training in a related field is required.
- First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate would be an asset.
- Must be patient, reliable, client-focused, organized with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to speak and understand English.
- Must work in senior's residential address.
