Responsibilities
Tasks
Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Take customer orders and process payments using a point-of-sale system.
Prepare, heat and finish simple food items according to established recipes and food safety standards.
Portion, wrap and package take-out food orders.
Serve customers at counters and buffet tables.
Stock refrigerators, salad bars and food preparation areas.
Replenish condiments, utensils and food supplies as required.
Maintain cleanliness of counters, food preparation areas, kitchen equipment and dining areas.
Receive and store food supplies and ingredients.
Follow health, safety and sanitation regulations at all times.
Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation duties as required.
Ensure excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a courteous manner.
