Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: $37.50 per hour (30–40 hours per week)

Location: Various locations across British Columbia (Burnaby and Nanaimo based projects)
Work Location: On the road – frequent travel required
Start Date: As soon as possible
The person should be able to perform the following job duties and responsibilities:
- Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair cable signals and associated equipment.
- Diagnose telecommunications equipment faults and perform repairs or replacements.
- Install, maintain, arrange, and remove telephone systems, wiring, and related hardware.
- Test installed telephone systems and locate transmission faults.
- Analyze test results and adjust, repair, or replace network equipment and software.
- Complete service reports and maintain accurate testing records.
- Install and maintain analog, digital, and electromechanical trunking systems.
- Operate computerized testing equipment to conduct service diagnostics.
- Connect, disconnect, and relocate cable outlets.
- Maintain and repair aerial and underground cable transmission systems.
- Repair or replace defective cables, amplifiers, converters, splitters, and power supplies.
- Climb poles, ladders, and other support structures as required.
Own equipment required: Steel-toed safety boots, hard hat
Security and Safety: Valid Driver’s Class 5 license, clean driving abstract and criminal record check.
Personal Suitability: Team player, excellent oral & written communication, detail orientated
Education & Language requirement:
- Fluent in English language; oral Punjabi and Hindi language is asset but not mandatory.
- Completion of Secondary School is required
- Completion of Vocational Diploma/Certificate/Apprenticeship in Telecommunication OR 3 years of experience in the field is required.
