Job Title: Pharmacy Assistant

Salary:  $ 20.00 to 23.00 / hour / 35 to 40 hours per week

Job requirements: 

Languages: English

Education: Must have a high school diploma or 2 years of experience. No pharmacy diploma required.

Experience: 2 or more years of experience is required in the relevant field

Specific Skills: 

• Ensure the information on prescriptions is accurate
• Enter client information in databases
• Help pharmacists
• Maintain prescription records
• Compound, package and label pharmaceutical products
• Compound oral solutions, ointments and creams
• Maintain inventories of medications and prescription records of pharmaceutical products
• Perform general clerical duties
• Manage routine office functions including reception, telephone and booking appointments
• Order supplies and equipment
