Permanent Position: We require 2 Drywall Installers for our company.
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time
Wage Rate: $36.75 Hourly (32 Hours per week)
Over Time Wage: $55.12 per hour
Number of Vacancies: 2
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Work Location: Various Locations over lower mainland
Languages: Basic Knowledge of English is required.
Requirements:
• Completion of High School
• 1-2 years of work experience in the trade

Job Duties:

Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements
Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets
Attach metal or gypsum lath to studs or furring
Cut openings in lath for heating and ventilation piping, ducts and electrical outlets
Install corner beads and wire mesh around beams to which plaster is to be applied
Install metal stud framing and furring for interior drywall or plaster walls and ceilings, using hand and power tools
Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding

$1000 will be paid one time to cover the move in and will help to find suitable accommodation. Home to work and work to home free transportation will be provided by the employer
