Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Experience an Asset
Specific Skills:
- Analyze architectural blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine precise project specifications and calculate steel material requirements.
- Prepare accurate site layouts using advanced measuring tools, ensuring strict compliance with local building codes and structural plans.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and secure lightweight steel studs, tracks, and related metal framing components to exact tolerances.
- Construct and erect foundational steel framing systems, including load-bearing walls, non-load-bearing walls, bulkheads, and roof systems.
- Fit and install essential structural backing, framing hardware, and trim items (such as doors and stairs) within metal-framed structures.
- Maintain, repair, and renovate steel structures across diverse environments, including residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities.
- Supervise, mentor, and direct apprentices and construction crews to ensure high-quality workmanship, project efficiency, and site safety.
- Prepare detailed labor and material cost estimates to support client consultations, project bidding, and budget management.

The project requires individuals who can think ahead, coordinate with multiple trades, maintain layout accuracy, and work through complex field conditions with minimal direction.
