JOB TITLE: Industrial Butcher
STATUS: Permanent full-time position, day shift

FUNCTION SUMMARY
Maple Lodge Farms Ltd. is currently looking for motivated men and women to fill several permanent butcher/butcher positions in its various departments such as slaughter, evisceration, packaging.

AVAILABLE SHIFT:
- 5:45 am – end of production or 7:15am - end of production
- Full-time (40 hours or more/week)

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION:
- Previous Industrial Butcher experience
- Work on a production line
- Able to perform repetitive tasks
- Speed of execution
- Ability to follow a work rhythm (on the assembly line)
- Good physical fitness
- Dexterity
- Able to work in a cold environment
DUTIES BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Skin, clean, and trim carcasses
- Split carcasses into smaller portions using a saw machine
- Operate saw machine to cut chicken pieces
- Taking chicken pieces on conveyor and placing in trays depending on instructions and quality.
- Inspect visually the pieces of chicken to see if there are any anomalies.
- Unload cages / Hang chicken
- Remove any feathers or fat from pieces to ensure a good quality product.
- Place full trays on conveyor
