Axis Mechanical Ltd. is currently hiring a plumber for a permanent and full-time position to join their team in Chilliwack as soon as possible.

Education: Grade12th
Experience: 2years – 3 years experience
Number of openings: 1
Wage: $36.60 / Hr
Hours: 30 to 40 Hours per week

Job Description:
- Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network and waste and drainage systems
- Install, fix and maintain domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing equipments and systems
- Prepare tenders and quotations
- Instruct apprentices
- Determine and indicate the location of pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors
- Accommodate pipe and pipe fittings by cutting openings in walls and floors.
- Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing and welding equipment
- Using air and water pressure gauges, check pipes for any leakage.
- Determine the requirements of the piping system and pipe sizing.
- Supervise other workers
- Estimate costs and materials
- Measure, cut, thread and bend pipes to the necessary shape and size
