CHEF DE PARTIE
Autostrada Oyster Bar & Grill located at 115 Main St., Britannia Beach, BC, V8B 1E7 is looking for a full-time Chef de partie to join their team as soon as possible.
Job Duties:
Estimate food requirements and the costs of ingredients and supplies.
Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory.
Demonstrate new cooking techniques and the use of kitchen equipment to kitchen staff.
Instruct and mentor cooks in food preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation techniques.
Prepare and cook complete meals, specialty dishes, and menu items.
Prepare and cook food for banquets, weddings, special events, and other functions.
Supervise cooks and other kitchen personnel to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation standards are maintained at all times.
Requisition food, kitchen supplies, and equipment as required.
Consult with clients regarding weddings, banquets, and specialty catering functions.
Assist in menu planning and development.
Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace health and safety standards.
Train staff in the preparation, cooking, and proper handling of food.Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to kitchen staff.
Job Requirements
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
or equivalent experience
1 year to less than 2 years experience is required.
Salary: $38.40/hour , 40 Hours Per Week
