Hours: 40 to 60 hours per week

4. Responsibilities / Duties

• Operate tractor-trailers to transport goods safely over long distances across Canada and the United States.
• Inspect trucks and trailers before, during, and after each trip to ensure safe operation.
• Load, secure, and verify cargo in accordance with company and transportation safety standards.
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes while complying with schedules and dispatch instructions.
• Use GPS navigation systems and route planning tools to determine efficient travel routes and delivery schedules.
• Complete electronic and paper logbooks, trip reports, and shipping documentation accurately.
• Comply with all federal, provincial, and state transportation laws, including hours-of-service regulations.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery updates, delays, and any on-road issues.
• Perform minor roadside maintenance and report mechanical defects for timely repairs.
• Ensure cargo is delivered safely, on time, and in good condition to customers.
• Maintain a clean, professional vehicle and represent Bowling Green Logistics courteously during customer interactions.

• AZ Class Licence

• Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
