Location: Georgetown, ON, L7G 4S5
Salary: $37.00 hourly / 30 hours per Week
Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time
Start date: Starts as soon as possible

Responsibilities
- Interpret welding process specifications
- Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes
- Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications
- Perform shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) to fuse metal segments
- Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment
- Operate brakes, shears and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines
- Fit, align, tack, and weld metal components according to drawings, specifications, and project requirements
- Operate oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc-air), (AOC)
- Determine weldability of materials
- Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products
- Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding and cutting equipment
