Full-time: 35 to 40 hours per week

Early morning, Evening, Shift, Flexible hours, Morning, Day, Weekend

Starts as soon as possible

Languages: English

Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3months to less than 1 year

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Work locations may vary. Frequent or constant travel is required from theemployee.

Responsibilities/ Tasks: 

• Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs
• Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements
• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, woodsubstitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
• Prepare tenders and quotations
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
• Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites
• Estimate costs and materials
