Fusion on the Lake is seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and hardworking Cook specializing in Indian cuisine to join our team. We are looking for a motivated individual who takes pride in preparing high-quality Indian dishes, has a passion for authentic flavours and cooking techniques, and thrives in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience preparing a variety of Indian dishes, including curries, tandoori items, breads, rice dishes, appetizers, and other traditional specialties. The Cook will be responsible for maintaining consistent food quality, proper portioning, presentation, and food-safety standards while working effectively as part of our kitchen team.

Education requirement:

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience

7 months to less than 1 year

 Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate special events
• Determine the size of food portions and costs
• Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization
• Requisition food and kitchen supplies
• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
• Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas
• Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
• Clean kitchen and work areas
• Manage kitchen operations
