Wage rate: $38.50 per hour, 32 to 40 hours/week.
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience.
Language: English.
JOB DUTIES:
- Plan, organize and oversee daily bar and beverage service operations.
- Supervise, schedule, train and monitor bartenders, servers and other bar staff.
- Ensure compliance with provincial liquor laws, responsible alcohol service requirements, and company policies.
- Monitor beverage inventory, place orders and maintain adequate stock of liquor, beer, wine and bar supplies.
- Control beverage costs, review sales and budgets, and implement measures to maintain profitability.
- Coordinate with suppliers and negotiate arrangements for beverages and other required supplies.
- Ensure health, safety, cleanliness and sanitation standards are maintained throughout the bar area.
- Monitor customer service, handle complaints and resolve service-related concerns.
- Coordinate bar operations for live entertainment, special events and busy service periods.
- Assist with promotions, marketing activities and initiatives to increase beverage sales and customer satisfaction.
