MODERN CITY HOMES LTD. Located at 7754 147 street, Surrey, BC, V3S 5M4 is currently looking for 2 GENERAL-SUPERVISORS-BUILDING CONSTRUCTION to join their team as soon as possible.

Full-Time Permanent positions at $36/ Hour with 4% vacation pay as BC’s Employment Standards. Various work locations as per company’s contracts. English is a required language. 3 to 4 year of relevant experience and completion of high school is required. College certificate or diploma in the subject will be an asset.

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to details, work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Large Workload, physically demanding, bending, crouching, kneeling, standing for extended periods.

Work site environment: At heights, Noisy, Dusty, Hot, Cold.

Job Duties:

• Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of trades persons and construction helpers.
• Manage and monitor project expenditures to meet given budget.
• Calculate resources required and purchase construction material, equipment, tools and supplies.
• Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities.
• Prepare and maintain work progress reports.
• Recruit new employees according to the work load and arrange training the new workers.
• Ensure all safety procedures are followed.
• Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity.
