Experience: No experience is required as the employer will provide training.
Job Duties:
- Operate and drive truck-trailer as a team to transport goods and material to destinations.
- Monitor the condition of assigned vehicles and equipment.
- Ensure cargo is secured properly in accordance with safety requirements.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Record cargo information, distance travelled, fuel consumption and other information in log book.
- Communicate with dispatcher and other drivers.
- Ensure all the paperwork is filled up correctly.
- Drive Dump Trucks
- Perform minor roadside repairs.
- May Work as a part of two person team.
Requirements:
- Must have Class 1 OR equal Driver's License from any other province or country with air brake endorsement
- Driving record check (abstract), Drug test
