Requirements
Language: English
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required
Experience: Experience is an asset
Duties and Responsibilities
Greet customers, present menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages.
Take customer orders and relay them to kitchen and bar staff.
Serve food and beverages.
Advise customers on menu selections.
Present bills and accept payments by cash, credit card, debit card, travellers cheques or room billings.
Address customers' complaints or concerns.
Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs.
Provide customer service.
Work Conditions
The position involves working in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching and kneeling, and working under pressure.
Personal Suitability
The ideal candidate should be client-focused, reliable, organized, flexible and a team player, with initiative and excellent oral communication skills.
