JOB DESCRIPTION:
SugarKane Restaurant, located at 699 Danforth Avenue, Toronto, Ontario is recruiting for the position of FULL-TIME Restaurant Manager. We are looking for a committed, caring, and energetic individual who will make SugarKane the great place it is to work. We provide a fun-filled atmosphere, competitive wages, and opportunities to grow.
JOB DUTIES:
- Manage and coordinate end-to-end FOH & BOH operations of the restaurant.
- Coordinate and manage the entire staff of the restaurant.
- Generate detailed daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports on business, staff, and profits.
- Prepare staff schedules that optimize labor costs while ensuring sufficient operational coverage.
- Estimate consumption, forecast requirements & maintain inventory.
- Ensure that food and service meet our standards.
- Ensure kitchen staff adheres to recipes & portion sizes.
- Assist kitchen & service staff during peak operational hours.
- Train new employees in job duties, health, hygiene & safety standards as per company policy.
- Maintain records of sales, stocks, wastage, breakage & repairs
- Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed to ensure a safe work environment.
- Provide excellent customer service & resolve customer complaints.
- Recruit, train, and motivate FOH & BOH staff.
- Responsible for increasing the business of the restaurant.
- Increase the profits by minimizing wastage & cost control.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience: 7-months or more
- Education: High School
COMPENSATION/BENEFITS:
- Wages: $37/hour
- 30 hours/week
