Title of Position: Nursery Worker
Number of positions: 8
Terms of employment: Full-time - Permanent; Year- round work
Wages: $18.25 per hour
Anticipated start date: As soon as possible

Work Locations: 6716 168 Street, Surrey, BC- V3S 3T6

Job Responsibilities

Prepare soil for planting, potting, and transplanting activities and plant bulbs, seeds, and cuttings etc.
Weeding, watering, fertilizing, potting, and pruning etc.
Monitor plants for signs of pests, diseases, and nutrient deficiencies and report issues.
Spray trees, shrubs, and plants to prevent plant disease and pests.
Prepare plants for shipping, including pulling orders, grading, boxing, stacking,
and wrapping etc.
Operate and maintain nursery tools, machinery, irrigation systems, and equipment.
Cleaning working areas when required.

Job Requirements:

No education required.
No experience needed; we will train.
No language requirements.

Benefits:

Accommodation will be provided at $30/ week (if required). Transportation to workplace is also available, if required.
