Job Description
We are seeking a responsible, caring, and reliable caregiver to provide childcare and household assistance for a family where the mother has a disability.
The successful candidate will help ensure a safe, clean, and supportive home environment while assisting with the children's daily needs and routine household tasks.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise and care for children in the family home.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals for the children and family as required.
- Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized home.
- Wash, dry, fold, and organize laundry.
- Assist with children's daily routines and activities.
- Maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment for the children.
- Provide household assistance to help the family manage daily responsibilities.
Employment Requirements
- Completion of at least secondary school.
- 1–2 years of relevant childcare or caregiver experience.
- Ability to communicate in English or French.
- Responsible, patient, organized, and trustworthy.
- Ability to perform childcare, meal preparation, housekeeping, and laundry duties.
Compensation and Working Conditions
- Wage: $19.27 per hour.
- Work schedule: 40 hours per week, 5 days per week.
- Work location: Private family residence.
- Employment type: Full-time.
