Job Title: WELDER HELPER

No. of Vacancies: 2

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time.

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible.

Work Location: 16108 Blundell Road, Richmond, BC, V6W 0A2 Canada 

Wage rate: $21.93/hour for 40 hours/week.

Benefits: Dental Insurance, Extended Medical Insurance, RRSP & 4% Vacation Pay

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma

Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year

Job Duties: 

• Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale and other materials from surfaces of metal products,
• Assist sheet metal workers and welders,
• Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal and other materials,
• Grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools,
• Clean machines and immediate work areas,
•  Load and unload vehicle

 Additional Skills: Team working, Problem solving, Decision making & Continuous learning. Work under pressure

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, handling heavy loads, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, overtime required.
