1299632 B.C LTD (DBA: HELLCRUST PIZZA) is a restaurant with multi-branches in BC, Canada. We serve our clients with different types of Pizza’s, Pasta, Desserts, Beverages, Dips and salads. We are looking for a Food Service Supervisor for our location at Hastings Street, Burnaby

Position: Food Service Supervisor

Terms of employment: Permanent / Full Time

Start Date: As soon as possible

Salary: $26.50/ hour for 40 hours per week

Language: English

Education: Completion Senior Secondary Schooling

Experience: minimum 2 year experience needed.

Location: 4140 Hastings Street, Burnaby, BC V5C2J4

Main Duties:

• Greet the customers
• Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff.
•  Make sure the food is prepared as per the standards and portioned as served as per the company guidelines.
• Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for the preparation.
• Prepare the work schedule.
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage.
• Make sure the sitting area is clean and organized.
• Monitor and reduce wastage.
• Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures.
• May need to participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
• Ensure the safety of the employees and customers.
• Check the food and its expiry date.
• Put up the signage as required by the company policies
• Maintain the cash register.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, physically demanding; Standing for extended periods. Must be able to supervise 3-4 people.
