Seeking an experienced full time permanent position to care for 12 yers old boy with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD.  Sspecial boy who gives and can be very endearing but often struggles to regulate his energy level and his more impulsive behaviour. Looking a reliable support worker to support the family.

Work days flexible, from Monday to Friday, 35-40 hours a week. Help with all activity of daily living. Duties include: Supervise the child, meal preparation, serve nutritious foods, assisting in personal hygiene, toiletting, bathing, dressing, medication administration, accompany to activities and doctor's appointments, maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, in the absense of parents, doing his laundry.

Work within a team environment including family and intervention team to develop individualized programming based on child’s interests and abilities including learning and modelling on an Assisted Augmentative Communications (AAC) iPad tool.

Able to read, write and speak fluently in English. Credentials: First Aid Certificate, CPR. Security and Safety: Reference and criminal record Check.  During the past year must have experience in elderly or certified training as caregiver.

Salary: 25.00/hr + Bus pass.
