General Information:
SYE Services Inc.’s is seeking a highly professional Assistant to be responsible for coordinating the administration of company benefits, onboarding and various other HR programs and functions. S/he will also help with other human resources tasks including recruitment support and administrative responsibilities. This individual must have previous HR experience, have an extremely high attention to detail and a strong customer service approach.
Main Duties:
- Operating telephones and switchboards; data entry; desktop publishing; and other activities involving general office and administrative skills.
- Respond directly and offer our services to our clients, provide them with an excellent service.
- Perform a variety of personnel-related administrative tasks, supporting the HR department in duties like preparing all relevant employee documentation – contracts, amendments, posting job ads and processing employee´s requests.
- Assist hiring process.
- Resolve work-related problems and prepare and submit progress and other reports
- Supports HR Projects and Initiatives
- Arrange schedules and make reservations
- Open and distribute incoming regular and electronic mail and other material and co-ordinate the flow of information internally and with other departments and organizations
- May supervise and train office staff in procedures and in use of current software
- Answer telephone and electronic enquiries and relay telephone calls and messages
- Maintain and update employee information, such as records of employee attendance, leave and overtime to calculate pay and benefit entitlements, in Canadian and other currencies, using manual or computerized systems
- Manage programs and maintain human resources, client information and related records systems
- Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems
- May compile data, statistics and other information to support research activities
Qualifications:
- Completion of Human Resources Management Diploma
- 5-7 years of experience in Administration.
- Experience and knowledge managing staff, meetings and agenda.
- Strong written and communication skills.
- Excellent computer skills and comfort with technology; strong Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and Adobe skills.
- 3 years of experience in customer service.
Asset
- Bilingual (English – Spanish)
- Works well in a team environment, but also displays initiative and must be able to work independently.
