Company Introduction
Ming’s Optical Inc. was established at Markham, Ontario in 2004. The company had been constantly providing ophthalmic products and services, as well as medical supplies to the customers in Canada for 16 years. We are here to help the local optical stores and eye clinics to serve their customers and patients.
Key Responsibility
- Load and unload freight, products, and equipment as directed by supervisor.
- Count, sort, and weigh packages, and utilizes handling equipment to move material to and from, trucks and within the storage facility.
- Maintain an acceptable level of productivity.
- Install, lash and secure goods.
- Verify shipping documents, shipping labels, and purchase orders.
- Picking and packaging and shipment of transfers and customer orders.
- Responsible for maintaining clean and safe work area.
- Handle cartons weighing up to 30 pounds.
- Ensure adherence to all safety policies and procedures.
- Participation in ongoing training opportunities.
Qualification & Skills
- Prefer to have at least some secondary school education.
- Previous work experience is an asset.
- Some physical strength is required to handler material liftings.
- Have good time management skills to prioritize assignments.
- Must be able to follow safety policies, protocol and procedures accordingly.
