Duties: 

• Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of workers who install, remove, splice, or repair fibre optic or internet cables, telephone lines or maintain telecommunication systems or control devices such as routers or switches.
• Establish procedures to meet project deadlines and coordinate tasks with engineers, technicians, and other project consultants.
• Determine the need and order material, supplies and tools.
• Train new workers, helpers, or apprentices.
• Solve work related issues and recommend work measures to enhance the productivity.
• Ensure that the work is performed safely, and all safety standards are followed.
• Prepare reports related to work progress.
• May also supervise, coordinate, and schedule tasks related to trainee, helpers, and workers.
