Required General Farm Worker (TEER 85100)

Company information

Amber Farms got established in 2018 from scratch on its 87 acres property located in Caledon Village, Ontario, with a mix of farmland, trees, small wildlife, and birds in the forest at the back. At Amber farms, we grow fresh vegetables and herbs for local grocery stores and surrounding residential communities. Primarily, it is a family-owned business, and all family members contribute their efforts towards a uniform goal, to grow fresh food with quality and minimal use of pesticides.

Job responsibilities are listed below:

• Plant, fertilize, cultivate, and irrigate crops.
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
• Set and monitor water lines.
• Cut grass; and
• Weed, prune and trim trees and plants
