Job Responsibilities:

  • Direct determination of the company’s mission guided by policies and solid objectives and strategic direction. Full management responsibility for the Company in discharging its Professional Services through effective management of resources (human, material, and financial).
  • Direct, manage, and continuously improve all aspects of professional services including project management, consulting, and training.
  • Continually look to improve the departmental process and delivery of products and services to streamline communications and improve effectiveness and efficiencies where necessary.
  • Hire, build, staff, train, motivate and retain the Company's Professional Services team at all levels (Directorial, Mid-Management, and Junior Staff).
  • Manage, authorize, organize and expand the existing Professional Services delivery capabilities both with existing and new staff at all levels (Directorial, Mid Management, and below) and partners.
  • Partner with the Company's sales and marketing team to sell and deliver professional services.
  • Ownership and development of the program components: including service delivery management, program governance, and P&L (Profit and Loss) for Professional Services.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in delivery and best practices. Coordinate with the Professional Services team to ensure best practices are captured and implemented within the Professional Services team.
  • Participate in the Company's annual budgeting process and then manage Professional Services operations within the parameters of the approved annual budget.
  • Work with the board of directors, provide the organization with strategic insight and fully participate as an active member of the Company's Leadership Team.
  • Leading by example in ensuring the organization's strong commitment to customer satisfaction remains a hallmark of the professional services team.
  • Responsible for reviewing and responding to escalated incidents.
  • Present on behalf of the organization at conferences, business shows, client engagements, etc.
  • Accomplishes statutory reporting compliance objectives by promoting compliance strategies and communicating and enforcing values, policies, and procedures to direct reports, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Protects assets by tracking applicable laws and regulations that affect reporting and anticipating emerging compliance trends.
  • Establishes compliance standards and designs improvements to internal control structures.
  • Minimizes legal risks by understanding current and proposed legislation, enforcing regulations, recommending new procedures, and complying with legal requirements.
  • Works alongside other senior managers and the board of directors to develop corporate governance guidelines.
  • Designs and develops compliance strategies by estimating, forecasting, and anticipating requirements, trends, and variances.
  • Aligns monetary resources, develops action plans, measures and analyzes results, initiates corrective actions, and minimizes the impact of variances.
  • Accomplishes compliance human resource strategies by determining accountabilities and planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions.
  • Develops compliance organizational strategies by contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to strategic thinking and direction, establishing functional objectives in line with organizational objectives.
