A.S.I. Dream Homes & Painting Ltd. is a Painting & Home renovation Contractors.  We are looking for “Painters” to join our company located in Surrey.

Position: Painter

NOC: 73112

Terms of employment: Permanent / Full Time

Vacancy: 2

Start Date: As soon as possible

Salary: $20/ hour for 40 hours per week

Language: English

Education: High School required, college diploma an asset.

Experience: 1-2 years in the same or related industry.

Location: 13317 84 Ave., Surrey, BC, V3W 3H1

Specific Skills:

• Help customers decide colours and choice of wall covering suitable to the area.
• Measure, cut and apply wallpaper and other fabrics to the wall.
• Repair the cracks and holes before applying the colour.
• Prepare, clean and sand surfaces the area to be panted.
• Efficient enough to mix the paint to desire colour and texture as per the decision taken by the client and the appointed personal.
• Erect scaffolding and swing stages and attach rigging.
• Apply pain, spray finishing, do straining, walpaper and other materials as per the instructions.
• Apply finishes to interior and exterior surface.

Equipment and Machinery Experience: Roller painting; Patterned rollers; Conventional spray painting; Brush painting; Multi-ratio pump spraying

 Work Site Environment: Outdoors, Indoors; At heights

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding; Attention to detail; Hand-eye co-ordination; Ability to distinguish between colours; Bending, crouching, kneeling
