Manjinder Dhaliwal” farm that specializes in Cherries, garlic and vegetables plantation is looking for Four (04) General Farm Workers for their farm.

Position: General Farm Worker

Location of Work: 

1. 5371 McDonald Road, Vernon BC- V1B 3K7
2. 2402 Hayman Rd, West Kelowna- V1Z 1Z6

Requirements:

No Education and experience required.

No Language requirements.

Description and Duties:

• plant, cultivate and irrigate crops
• Examine product for quality
• soil preparation, plowing, weeding, sorting, packing of crops
• drying, curing, and cleaning of crop
• prepare harvest for storage while maintaining quality
• remove debris and soil while keeping the harvest intact
• assist in maintaining farming equipments
• contribute to a safe working environment
• protection of crops by use of pesticides
• maintain nutrients to crops by fertilizing

Terms of Employment: Full time, permanent

Shift: Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift, Flexible Hours, Early Morning, Morning

Wage: $15.65/hr for 30 hr/week

Benefits: 4% vacation pay, accommodation will be provided at $30/week, transportation to and from housing location and work location is provided.

Working Conditions: Outdoors, all type of weather conditions
