HMS FramingLtd. is a part of the foundation, structure, and building exterior contractors’ industry. The company is currently looking for 3 full-time Construction Helpers to join our team.

Position: Construction Helper

Number of positions: 2

Terms of employment: Full-Time, Permanent

Salary: $26.50 per hour

Work location(s): Various Locations in Lower Mainland, Fraser Valley areas in BC as per company’s contracts with its clients.

Job Responsibilities 

• Assist skilled tradespersons at the work site by providing them tools, equipment, and other materials as required and assist in other activities.
• Load, unload and move construction materials to and from the work site.
• Dig trenches, backfill holes, or compact earth to prepare for construction.
• Remove rubble and debris from the work site.
• Clean and prepare surface.
• Mix, pour and spread materials as per tradesman's instructions.
• Observe safety regulations and procedures at all times.
• Take care of construction equipment, clean them and store at safe place after work shift.

Position Requirements

• Some work experience as a construction Helper would be an asset but not mandatory.
• Functional English is required.
• Candidate should be willing to work outdoors, indoors, and all-weather conditions.

Note: The employer will pay $500.00 to any employee who makes a referral that results in a hire. Qualified candidates will receive financial assistance up to $1000.00 for relocation from other provinces or regions.
