Job description:
Chohan Freight Forwarders Ltd. a well-known transportation company based at 26116 31B Avenue, Langley, BC – V4W 2Z6 is looking for Two (02) full-time, permanent Motor transport labourer (NOC: 7622) to join their company.
Minimum Requirements:
- There are no education or previous experience requirements for this position. All you need is basic knowledge of English Language.
Work Location: 26116 31B Avenue, Langley, BC – V4W 2Z6
Compensation & Wages:
- $19.00/hr. for 40 Hours per week + 4% Vacation pay on each schedule pay cheque
- Overtime rate of 1.5 times the regular wages after 08 hours a day and 40 hours a week.
- 5 Days of Sick leave per year
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist truck driver to load and unload vehicles.
- Store cargo and materials
- Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload and store
- Unload and move materials and products
- Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment
- Pick orders and stock
- Pack and unpack goods
- Organize and maintain inventory
- Follow safety procedures and ensure safe practices
- Perform other labour duties as required in yard/warehouse.
