Job Responsibilities

• Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly client service. The service includes responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, and claim submissions.
• Provide various insurance services to clients, including travel, property, business, and other types of insurance services.
• Calculate insurance rates, refunds, commissions, adjustments, and new reserve requirements.
• Assess clients' needs and customize insurance programs to meet their specific needs, often covering a wide range of risks.
• Ensure that records are maintained and that renewals are handled.
• Comply with policy requirements and fill out the appropriate forms.
• Develop clientele by networking to find new customers and generate prospect lists.
• Assist with other tasks as required.

Job requirements

• Completion of Secondary School.
• Possesses an insurance license from the regulator or willing to get one.
• Prior sales experience would be an asset.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Proactive in problem-solving.
• Able to multi-task, follow-through, and follow-up.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
