JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Subway located at 200 King Street East, Gananoque ON is recruiting for the position of FULL TIME Restaurant Asst. Manager. We are looking for a committed, caring, and energetic individual who will make Subway the great place it is to work. We provide a fun-filled atmosphere, competitive wages, and opportunities to grow.
JOB DUTIES:
- Coordinate and manage the entire operation of the restaurant.
- Coordinate and manage the entire staff of the restaurant.
- Generate detailed daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports on business, staff, and profit.
- Schedule staff in consultation with General Manager.
- Estimate consumption, forecast requirements & maintain inventory.
- Establish methods to meet work schedules.
- Ensure that food and service meet Subway standards.
- Ensure kitchen staff adheres to recipes & portion sizes to meet the brand standards.
- Train new employees in job duties, health, hygiene & safety standards as per company policy.
- Maintain records of sales, stocks, wastage, breakage & repairs
- Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed to ensure a safe work environment.
- Provide excellent customer service & resolve customer complaints.
- Recruit, train, and motivate staff.
- Responsible for increasing the business of the restaurant.
- Increase the profits by minimizing wastage & cost control.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience: 6-months or more
- Education: High School
COMPENSATION/BENEFITS:
- Wages: $21.20/hour
- 35 hours/week
