0744271 BC LTD is looking for 1 Truck Mechanic. This opportunity would be most compatible with individuals that are motivated and ambitious. Located in the Coquitlam area (X2-2320 ROGERS AVE, COQUITLAM, BC), this position Long-term permanent full-time employment (40 Hours per week) at 34.50 / hour.

 Start Date:                   As soon as possible

Job Requirements: The qualified candidate must be able to perform each essential function successfully. The requirements listed below reveal the necessary skills and ability to perform the position functions. 

  • Completion of High School.
  • Work Experience: 1-2 years of experience is required
  • Basic knowledge of English Language is required
  • Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 pounds

Roles and responsibilities to perform –

  • Performs and repairs company transportable and fixed equipment through preventive and predictive maintenance. Diagnoses and troubleshoots equipment issues, as well as determining the need for repairs.
  • Repairing and troubleshooting major components such as engines, transmissions and differentials, including replacing complete assemblies, drive train, air brakes, steering, and fuel, hydraulic, electrical and electronic systems.
  • Repair, service and maintain hydraulic transmissions, power take-offs, tracked vehicle suspensions and steering, vehicle brake systems, and wheel-mounted vehicle suspension and steering.
  • Diagnoses and troubleshoots equipment issues, as well as determining the need for repairs.
  • To prepare for the work, selects the appropriate tools, machines, and supplies.
  • Handle cleaning, lubrication, and other preventative maintenance.
  • Integrates new parts or repairs parts into existing equipment.
  • Test repaired equipment for proper maintenance.
