• Salary $17.00 / hour

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Languages: English

Education: College, CEGEP or other non – university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years

Experience: About1 year to less than 2 years of direct and demonstrable experience of making popular Indian sweets on a commercial scale.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Standing for extended periods, Physically demanding.

Work Setting – Restaurant, Relocation costs covered by employer

Supervision - 5-10 people, , Food and beverage servers, Food service counter attendants and food preparers, Kitchen and food service helpers

SPECIFIC SKILLS

• Establish methods to meet work schedules,
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures,
• Estimate and order ingredients and supplies,
• Ensure food service and quality control,
• Prepare budget and cost estimates,
• Address customers' complaints or concerns,
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage,
• Prepare and submit reports,
• Prepare food order summaries for chef,
• Supervise and check assembly of trays,
• Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys
