A private residential household located at 11922 74B Ave, Delta, BC is looking for a caregiver for my parents for companionship.
Work Location: Work in employer's/ client's home. Optional accommodation is available at NO CHARGE in an event that caregiver wants to stay. However, THIS IS NOT a condition of employment.
•Maintain a record of their behavior and activities for reference purpose.
•Assisting parents in walking and light exercise.
•Plan and prepare healthy meals for them, followed by clean up.
•Assist and help them in bathing, dressing, and grooming.
•Accompanying them to the doctor and other outside appointments.
•Providing medication to them, in addition to keeping records of doctor's meeting.
•Observe their behavior or concerns and report them to the family or doctor on immediate basis.
•Providing them companionship and taking care of them in a polite and caring manner.
•Maintain a safe and clean environment around them.
•Take care of them and take full responsibility in the absence of family members.
•Assist them with preparing their bedding and light housekeeping.
Job Requirements:
•Completion of Secondary School
•Previous experience of at least 6 months and/or caregiver 6 months program is required.
•Must be able to speak, read and write English. Punjabi speaking is an asset but not a requirement.
