Job description:
Able Transport Ltd. a transportation company with a business address based at 29072 Maclure Rd, Abbotsford, BC - V3X 1K3 is looking for One (01) full-time, permanent Transportation Logistics Supervisor (NOC:12013)
Requirements:
- Education: Completion of High school education is required. Any higher related education would be considered an asset.
- Experience: More than 2 years of experience in related field is required.
Wages: $30.00/hr. (35-40 hours/week+4% Vacation Pay)
Job Duties:
- Supervise and manage the activities of workers involved in shipping, dispatching etc.
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations,
- Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods,
- Make sure transport compliance with regulation standards.
- Order supplies and materials as required.
- Control and manage the budget.
- Look after the workers performance and prepare report on monthly basis.
- Do the Hiring and arrange the necessary training for workers?
- Arrange the service and maintenance of vehicle.
- Check and verify the documentation for shipment and keep the tracking of goods in transit.
- Make sure all safety procedures are followed.
Other Conditions:
- The ideal candidate must be well-organized, motivated with good communication skills.
- Must be able to perform multiple tasks.
