Duties

  • Set department sales objectives and submit annual forecast and monthly profitability reports.
  • Plan, direct and estimate the operations of business engaged in different departments.
  • Determine consumer demand, services to be sold and estimate prices and policies.
  • Organize department meetings and updates as needed.
  • Interview, hire, train, develop, and motivate the Service Department team.
  • Use market research to capitalize on customer demand to determine expected sales volume and effect of competitors’ operations on sales.
  • Plan budgets, authorize expenditures and check profits.
  • Manage and develop team through regular feedback and annual performance reviews.
  • Review and provide advancement opportunities.
  • Handle elevated customer issues or complaints until resolution.
  • Continuously monitor and improve Customer Service Index (CSI) ratings.
  • Identify and implement strategic opportunities for improvement in department processes and spending.
  • Establish and maintain a safe, positive work environment by ensuring staff compliance with safety requirements.
