JOB TITLE: Warehouse Shipper/Receiver (NOC 14400)
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Full-time/Permanent
START DATE: As Soon As Possible
WAGE: $20.00 /Hour
NUMBER OF POSITIONS: 5
JOB DUTIES:
- Receive incoming shipments on Vista Trac, verify quantities against purchase orders/packing slip and update inventory database
- Maintain internal, manual or computerized record-keeping systems by counting received material and updating records
- Basic proficiency with MS office
- Generate shipping labels and placing labels on skids
- Oversee loading and unloading of goods
- Inspect shipment contents and comparing with records, including Purchase Order Receipts, invoices, packing slips, to verify accuracy of shipments and record any shortages or damaged goods
- Pick and assemble orders and check the accuracy of customer orders after packing (verify unit counts, labeling etc.)
- Operate forklift, pallet jack, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods.
- Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment
SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION: Completion of High School is required
EXPERIENCE:
- No Experience required, successful candidates will be provided training
- Experience in a related clerical occupation or as a warehouse worker would be considered an asset
- Forklift Certification is considered an asset, however not required for hiring. We will provide successful candidates with in-house forklift training and forklift certification

LANGUAGE:
- Written and oral English communication skills are required

- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Ability to work in various work environments: wet, damp, strong odor, dust, cold/refrigerated environments
- Ability to lift 25kg
- Flexible and controlled under crisis situations
- Flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends, evenings, and nights
- Highly organized with excellent time management/priority setting skills.
- Ability to use simple mathematics for inventory control
