We are looking for natural leader to support our General Manager.
Duties
- Oversees daily restaurant operations, including kitchen department and dine-in set up.
- Ensure the meat including chicken, beef and pork are marinated adequately by the kitchen staff.
- Assist in greeting guests, taking orders and responding to our guest’s complaints and concerns for providing a comforting food experience.
- Responsible for closing & opening of the restaurant in accordance to her shift
- Place appropriate food and beverage orders to ensure adequate supply of fresh products on hand in alignment with sales volume
- Assist in ensuring the use of fresh, top-quality ingredients while balancing costs daily
- Perform Inventory management tasks
- Establish work schedules.
- Coach, Train and develop a strong kitchen team including new staff.
- Ensuring a high level of cleanliness at all times.
- Ensuring labour and production plans are adjusted as per the requirement to minimize the wastage
- Deliver Perfect Guest Experience by ensuring food quality is at the highest standards of Swiss Chalet's established food quality and plating specifications
Requirements
- Secondary School Completion
- Completion of college program in food service/ restaurant management or have at least one month of experience in similar role.
- Ability to legally work in Canada
