Meridian Homes Ltd” is looking for One (1) full-time General Construction Supervisor to oversee construction crews at our company.

 Position name: General Construction Supervisor NOC (7302)

 Business Location: 106-14225 57th Ave, Surrey, BC – V3X 0H6

 Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

 Salary: $35.00 per hour, 40 hours/week

 Benefits: As per BC employment standards act + 4% Vacation pay on each schedule pay cheque.

 Qualification:

• Completion of High School is required. Any further related degree or trade certification would be an asset.
• More than 3 years of experience in related field is required.
• English

 Position Description:

 The Construction Supervisor's responsibilities include recruiting new crew members, monitoring performance and making recommendations for improvement, as well as educating all staff on safety. You should ensure that projects stay within budget and that required materials and equipment are available.

 Job Duties:

• Oversee and supervise the activities of workers at site.
• Hire new workers as per the work requirements.
• Arrange safety and work-related training for new hired workers.
• Make sure all work is performed using proper safety procedures.
• Order Construction materials and supplies.
• Estimate the cost and materials.
• Do the performance review for the workers.
• Maintain construction records and files.
• Resolve work related problems and workers complains.
• Read blueprints and drawings.
• Perform additional duties as required.

 Work Location: Required to work at various sites as per the business contracts.
