Phoenix Construction Systems Ltd. located in Surrey; BC is currently hiring 1 full-time Carpenter for their growing team.

Salary: $30.00 per hour
Start date: As soon as possible
Work locations: Candidates are required to work in Surrey, Bc, and various other locations in Lower Mainland (BC) area as per company’s contracts.
Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding
Job duties:
- Read and interpret blueprints and drawings, perform calculations, and prepare layouts.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
- Finish surface of woodwork in houses and buildings, using hand tools and paneling.
- Work on new projects, remodels, or additions to existing wooden structures.
- Build foundations, install floor beams and subflooring, build walls, and install partitions.
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, moldings, and hardware.
- Operate power as well as hand tools.
- Supervise other construction workers.
Job Requirements
- Completion of high School
- Completion of apprenticeship program in the relevant trade or at least 3 years of work experience in a similar field.
- Ability to communicate in English
- Ability and willingness to work independently with limited supervision

- Financial assistance for relocation from other cities, provinces or regions will be provided up to $1000.00 CAD for qualified candidates
