GENERAL MANAGER, SALES - Trade, Broadcasting SAnd Other Services (PERMANENT POSITION)
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead, develop and drive the defined sales team to achieve above average sustainable profitable growth and protect existing business by effectively leveraging our Core Competencies.
- Develop long-term sales strategies to improve market penetration and ensure future growth identifying and prioritizing growing Markets/Brands/Customers and Categories.
- Plan and decide on the optimal resource allocation in line with the Business Unit’s strategies.
- Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
- Build and maintain relationships with both customers and suppliers and to assist and direct team members in sourcing and growing customer base.
- Engage in marketing activities with existing and new potential clients and manage deal pipeline.
- Work with internal teams to develop proposals addressing all aspects required to meet client business objectives.
- Play a leading role in the creation, presentation, and sale of a complete proposal via telephone, e-mail, and customer meetings.
- Attend client meetings and events (in-person and virtual) to pitch for new and existing business as needed
- Set sales’ profit goals and hold team members accountable for goals and recognize or discipline as needed.
- Develop and manage operating budgets envisioning the forecast
- Monthly financial analysis and includes determining overall success of current customer profiles
- Oversee all aspects of transaction life cycle: client sourcing, marketing, due diligence, negotiation, documentation and closing
- Champion the Eco Space value proposition through product demonstrations.
Compensation & Hours:
Salary: $60.15 CAD PER Hour (Overtime paid $90.23 PER HOUR after 44 hours of work per week;4% Holiday pay will be accrued)
Working hours: Minimum 30 hours per week
Job Details:
Experience: Relevant 5 or more years of experience will suffice the job
Education: College/CEGEP in a relevant discipline
Language: Proficiency in both spoken and written English
