Job description:

Insulation Installer 

Salary: $31.00 per hour, permanent, full time 40.00 per week, regular

Requirements: high school, 2-3 years of experience in caulking applications at windows and doors, thermal insulation of buildings, firestops and firewall, working at heights qualifications, suspended access, elevated platforms qualifications, able to work at heights.  

Duties:

• Select type of insulation required
• Apply and secure insulation such as calking, foam to the windows and doors
• Install vapor barriers and fire-retardant materials, firewall and firestops
• Brush waterproofing cement or other material over insulating materials
• Assemble, erect and dismantle scaffolding, rigging and hoisting equipment
• Install thermal insulation to the building
• Precast concreate sealing
• Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages including: suspended access equipment, bosun’s chair, elevated work platforms.
• Follow all safety precautions
