Salary: hourly wage of $23, work 40 hours per week, 52 weeks a year
Annual: $47,840
Job Duties:
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the activities of residential home building
- Communicate, coordinate and consult and with customers, architects and engineers regarding plans and specifications
- Plan and prepare work schedules and co-ordinate the activities of subcontractors to ensure the normal operation of home construction projects
- Prepare bids for home construction projects
- Select, hire and supervise trade subcontractors to do specialized work, such as plumbing, heating and electrical work
- Inspect work performed by architects, engineers and subcontractors to ensure quality and progress of home construction projects and conformity with plans and specifications
- Develop and implement marketing and advertising strategies to promote company's home construction products and services
- Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers and trade subcontractors
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of three years of experience in the construction industry
- Having communication, collaboration and skills and capacities
- Ability to manage multiple home construction projects simultaneously with a constant eye on quality
- Having excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of construction methods and technologies, and ability to interpret technical drawings and contracts
- Knowledge of building code requirements and scheduling methods
- Knowledge of job-site safety practices
- Having experience in management is preferred
